Barlow Tyrie London 150cm Bench

The London is an original Barlow Tyrie design classic dating back to the 1920's. It features a robust construction with a wide flat arm which is perfect for resting a drink or a book. The London is suitable for public spaces and private gardens. If you were to imagine a typical park bench this would be it. Both the armchair and the benches can be carved with an inscription or fitted with a bronze plaque

As the world's longest standing manufacturer of quality teak leisure furniture, Barlow Tyrie’s teak wood is first grade plantation grown teak (Tectona Grandis) sourced from Indonesia using responsible forestry practices.  Fittings are of marine grade solid brass or stainless steel. 

Teak is a deciduous hardwood tree, it does not come from tropical rainforests, it has a naturally high oil content making it stable and resistant to rotting when exposed to climatic extremes, hence it is considered the premium timber for outdoor furniture.

Teak wood will naturally weather from golden brown when new to a silver-grey patina colour, enhancing its beauty over time.
