Caring for your Kettler Wooden Garden Furniture

Kettler uses hardwood in its garden furniture. Hardwood is a higher quality material compared to softwood which requires a different treatment. Acacia and teak furniture is naturally more durable than softwoods, such as pine, due to its high oil content.

Clean with a wet cloth or soft-bristled brush and soapy water at least once a year. We recommend cleaning in the Autumn before the colder months arrive.

Maintain the natural colour of the wood by applying a wood treatment, such as the Kettler Hardwood protector which is 4 times more effective than regular oil.

Storing hardwood garden furniture is simple as it can stay outdoors all year round, although there is a tailored fitted cover available for this particular bench
