Barlow Tyrie Chesapeake Side Chair

The Chesapeake solid teak dining collection from Barlow Tyrie includes dining chairs, rectangular and round tables. The design marries traditional elements with clean contemporary touches, with scroll arms and tapered legs on the chairs, and rolled edges on the tables.

As the world's longest standing manufacturer of quality teak leisure furniture, Barlow Tyrie’s teak wood is first grade plantation grown teak (Tectona Grandis) sourced from Indonesia using responsible forestry practices.  Fittings are of marine grade solid brass or stainless steel. 

Teak is a deciduous hardwood tree, it does not come from tropical rainforests, it has a naturally high oil content making it stable and resistant to rotting when exposed to climatic extremes, hence it is considered the premium timber for outdoor furniture.

Teak wood will naturally weather from golden brown when new to a silver-grey patina colour, enhancing its beauty over time.
