Barlow Tyrie Glenham Junior Children’s Armchair

The Glenham is an original Barlow Tyrie design that is widely regarded as the typical English garden seat.  Solid teak, robust and long lasting with heavy weight seating, the range includes some more unusual items for use in larger gardens and landscaping projects.

Especially sized for young children, this is a small version of the Glenham Armchair at 65cm total height.

As the world's longest standing manufacturer of quality teak leisure furniture, Barlow Tyrie’s teak wood is first grade plantation grown teak (Tectona Grandis) sourced from Indonesia using responsible forestry practices.  Fittings are of marine grade solid brass or stainless steel. 

Teak is a deciduous hardwood tree, it does not come from tropical rainforests, it has a naturally high oil content making it stable and resistant to rotting when exposed to climatic extremes, hence it is considered the premium timber for outdoor furniture.

Teak wood will naturally weather from golden brown when new to a silver-grey patina colour, enhancing its beauty over time.
