Barlow Tyrie Monterey 10 Seater Dining Set

The Monterey collection from Barlow Tyrie is their interpretation of mid-century modern design, inspired by Monterey Bay on the central California's Pacific coast. It combines teak with the latest materials - Italian high-fired ceramic table tops and all-weather Olefin cord. There is an all teak seating option which also provides comfort with statement in the form of contemporary ellipse shaped slats and detailing, creating a stunning appearance when viewed from both the front and back.

This spectacular 10 seater dining set comprises of the spacious 300cm table with the beautiful Monterey armchairs in brown braided Olefin cord. This elegant armchair is sculptured using a solid teak frame with braided cord for seat and back, giving comfort and a timeless appearance. The Oxide ceramic top of the table compliments the chairs wonderfully and is ideal for outdoors-  it is colour fast, scratch proof, weather resistant and easy to clean.

As the world's longest standing manufacturer of quality teak leisure furniture, Barlow Tyrie’s teak wood is first grade plantation grown teak (Tectona Grandis) sourced from Indonesia using responsible forestry practices.  Fittings are of marine grade solid brass or stainless steel. 

Teak is a deciduous hardwood tree, it does not come from tropical rainforests, it has a naturally high oil content making it stable and resistant to rotting when exposed to climatic extremes, hence it is considered the premium timber for outdoor furniture. It will naturally weather from golden brown when new to a silver-grey patina colour, enhancing its beauty over time.
