Barlow Tyrie Aura Lounge Chair - Graphite/Charcoal

Aura is a modern, lightweight, elegant collection that combines powder coated aluminium frames, teak table tops with aluminium inlay and stackable chairs and loungers accented with teak armrests. The Aura occasional collection was created to compliment the very successful deep seating and dining ranges.

You deserve a little sit down in the Barlow Tyrie Aura lounge chair. It has a powder coated aluminium frame with teak accents. The Textilene slings are topped with a full range of cushions in Sunbrella standard and waterproof fabric from the Barlow Tyrie collection.

Barlow Tyrie use an environmentally friendly process to clean and etch the aluminium before applying a high quality powder coat, which combines a stunning visual effect with long service and the minimum of maintenance.  

All slings are made from Textilene®, a woven PVC coated polyester yarn.  This material guarantees that the slings are strong, durable, mildew resistant and require the minimum of maintenance.  After rain a light tap and any water simply drops off.

Barlow Tyrie cushions are manufactured using Sunbrella®, a colour fast fabric that is made from durable, all-weather, 100% solution-dyed, Teflon®-coated acrylic fibre. This fabric repels water, but cushions should not be left out in heavy rain for prolonged periods.  Sunbrella Rain® fabric has an additional barrier that makes the fabric weatherproof and the surface of the cushion quick drying.  Although the fabric is waterproof, zips and venting will allow ambient moisture from the atmosphere to enter the cushion.  All cushions should be dry before stored.  There is an additional charge for cushions in Sunbrella Rain® fabric.

Teak is a deciduous hardwood tree from managed plantations;  it does not come from tropical rainforests.  Teak has a naturally high oil content making it stable and resistant to rotting when exposed to climatic extremes.  For centuries these unique qualities have made teak the preferred choice for marine decking and construction; hence it is considered the premium timber for outdoor furniture. Teak wood will naturally weather from golden brown to a silver-grey patina colour.
